Privacy Policy
This policy explains how PLOTLEAP handles personal data when you visit plotleap.com, contact us, or choose to enable analytics cookies.
1. Data we collect
We may process information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, company or organisation, and the content of your enquiry. If you consent to analytics, we may also collect information about how you use the website, including page views, device and browser information, approximate geographic area, traffic source or referrer, and interaction events.
We do not intentionally ask you to submit sensitive personal data through the website.
2. Why we use personal data
- To respond to enquiries and manage potential or existing business relationships.
- To take steps you request before entering into an agreement and, where appropriate, to pursue our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.
- To operate, secure and maintain the website.
- With your consent, to understand website usage and improve PLOTLEAP through Google Analytics 4.
- To comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
3. Analytics and cookies
PLOTLEAP uses Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Accept in the analytics cookie banner. Until then, analytics storage remains denied and the Analytics library is not loaded. Advertising-related consent signals remain denied because PLOTLEAP is not currently using Google Ads features through this implementation.
Your choice is stored in your browser using local storage under the key plotleap_consent. If you reject analytics cookies, PLOTLEAP does not load Google Analytics. You can clear your browser storage at any time to reset this choice.
4. Service providers and international processing
We use service providers that support the operation of the website and our business. For analytics, Google Analytics is provided in the EEA through Google Ireland Limited. Depending on the service and processing location, personal data may be processed outside your country. Where required, providers are expected to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
5. Retention
Enquiry data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage a potential or existing business relationship, comply with legal obligations, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is retained for no longer than 14 months, subject to the retention settings configured for the Analytics property.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, contact admin@plotleap.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your country of residence, work or the place of the alleged infringement.
7. Automated decisions
We do not use the website to make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
8. Security and updates
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We may update this policy when our website, tools or processing activities change. The current version will always be published at this URL with its effective date.
